The bus is ever expanding as more wild folk jump on board to share their art with the world. It is constantly moving, picking up wonderful characters and artists along the way and taking you to incredible places where creation is bountiful and the waves are perfect'

Eli Mirandon Features: Wave Tools Surfboards

Wave Tools Surfboards

wtsurf.blogspot.com/

This site inspires me because it's got a lot of energy and stoke behind the people and boards in it!

Eli Mirandon - elisurfing.blogspot.com

Featured: Eli Surfing

David Gray and I have featured Eli Mirandon a lot on The Leucadia Project. He is one of David's favorite guys to shoot as he can surf anything and will go out when no one else will and perform. He is also a talented shaper and craftsman. Pushing the limits of design and performance. I always check his site to see what he is up to next.

Clif Evers Featured: Wildering

WILDERING

DAN CROCKETT

Chickens, single fins, hulls, children, cold grey lonely waves, bent and straining fishing rods, burnt wood and smoky aromas, light shows over horizons, trees older than human time, colour and paint, drifting poems and lyrical ideas. These are a few of my favourite things. And Dan Crockett of Wildering takes me to a place where these things are in abundance. I find myself wistfully waiting for the mailman delivering Dan’s niche newspaper ‘The Kook’ and tracing the connections in it of the places his online presence sweeps me away to, willingly or not, each and every morning as I drink from my pot of tea. Following which, I paddle out into wind-blown lines of swell, inspired.

Ed Lewis Featured: The Swallowtail Society

"The Swallowtail Society is one of my all time favorite blogs. I go there daily to get my fix on all the Mandala Goodness."

Ed Fladung Features: Saturdays

"Saturdays is a surfy, arty, coffee shop in SoHo, NYC. Their take on surf culture has a very east coast urban aesthetic and the blog that they keep reflects the inspirations behind their whole illy vibe. Their posts are filled with off-beat vaguely surfy style detritus that, for me, seems to widen the boundaries of what surf culture can and should be. A great addition to any surf junkies' rss collection. get on in it

Jamie Watson Featured: Quality Peoples

"Quality Peoples inspired me from the start with its clean and creative design & layout, gorgeous photography and unpretentious words of enthusiasm, intelligence, goings on....about surfing, politics & art that inspires Ed Fladung.  Perhaps the biggest thing of all is that Ed left a nice life in L.A. to risk it all in Mexico, where he met the woman of his dreams, surfs a beautiful break, takes sublime photographs and now has a one-year old baby boy.  His life exudes happiness and he is a genuinely kind person whom I hope to meet in person one day."

Glenn Sakamoto Featured: Pineapple Luv

"There are a lot of surfing blogs out there that are hip and cool, but Jamie somehow manages to make surfing appear to be simply this:  an experience of pure joy. Seeing the world through her eyes is a comfort knowing that  we can still enjoy the wonder of this world through simple observation. Thanks Jamie!"

Glenn Sakamoto - Liquid Salt

Jim Mitchell Featured: Liquid Salt

"My favourite place to start the day is over at Liquid Salt.

The interviews are a set of similar questions asked to a bunch of different surfers, photographers, shapers, artists, legends or all of the above. I love the insights into these peoples minds and what drives them. No surprises for guessing that surfing is the greatest motivation of all."

Jim Mitchell - The Critical Slide Society

Ryan Tatar Featured: The Critical Slide Society

"I will nominate the Critical Slide Society.  Those guys are really good guys, and are doing their own thing out in Australia.  It's cool to see their collective of contributors always adding good photography, art, film, events, and the like on the other side of the world." - Ryan Tatar
